Always wanted to visit the Fjords and we were delighted with our cruise.

The Skylift from Fjord to Sky at Loen was absolutely stunning!

We were so lucky with the weather, sunshine and blue skies for the majority of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We were in a balcony cabin on Baha which had been refurbished.

The bed was amazingly comfortable, even better than on the Royal Princess last year.

The bathroom unfortunately hadn’t been refurbished and was showing signs of wear but was adequate.

Our Senior Cabin Steward,Willy, did a great job of keeping our cabin clean and tidy.

Port Reviews

Olden

We did our own thing in the morning and enjoyed our walk and visited the lovely little wooden church.

We had an early lunch in the Horizon restaurant before meeting our guide at the pier for our excursion.

We were taken by coach to view a glacier which we walked to the base for a lovely photo point.

We then our coach and were taken to the Sky Lift at Loen- Fjord to Sky in 5 mins.

The experience was fantastic!

The views from the top were just stunning also the facilities were excellent.

Geiranger

We took the water taxi from the ship to the shore and then walked around the little town.

We then took the energetic walk up the steps and platforms at the side of the most amazing waterfall.

The water was thundering down the mountain and the whole experience was fabulous.

We walked to the very top where the views were lovely.

We walked back down at the side of the winding road but unfortunately there isn’t a pavement.

We called in at the little church and admired the beautifully tendered graveyard.

We enjoyed a delicious ice cream before returning by the tender to the ship.

Stavanger

We enjoyed our walk around Stavanger after firstly visiting the Tourist Information Office and receiving a map and tips for visiting the town.

Southampton

Embarkation was excellent and we were soon on board ship.
