we chose this cruise as it was short and e073 cabin was available read on bigest problem with cabin, the embarkation was a shambles the trips were poorly organised went to cherbourg on Bastille day evertwhwere was closed next stop santander no courtesy bus into town very long walk bearing in mind this cruise is mainly for older folks with walking difficulties do P&O care no they dont,we all know how the British love to queue well P&O love people to do that the whole standard of thic cruise company sadly has dropped, they seem to be theonly ship that use a lorry and crain to get the disembarkation gangways fixed seems every thing is being done on the cheap, the only nice thing i can say about this cruise ai that the food was good apart from the piles of green beans, most of the staff were good but not all as we have found before, didnt like the constant smell of paint round the ship painting every day with a radiator roller and one inch brush probably why it takes so long

Cabin Review

Cabin cabin with a window shower over bath

we have been on this ship three times, last year we had this cabin with a clear view out to sea no obstruction so when we booked this cruise in August 2018 for this July we again booked cabin e073 as it was free,On entering the cabin you can imagine our shock to see a life boat right across the width of the window no view what so ever also there was four men working on this boat literally outside our cabin ,I went to reception to ask to be moved and was told no other cabins available later that day they started testing the life boat engine the noise was deafening I phoned reception and the deputy bridge manager came to our room he said this was unacceptable and would get back to us he never did and the work on the boat carried on for days as well as painting all around the window so the room with a view turned into a dark cabin with the curtains shut, the cabin carpets were also very dirty, there was some sort of maintenance going on on the ship throughout the cruise the attitude of P&O they just don't care, the food was good the excursions were awful could not get off at Guernsey they used there own life boats as tenders and the sea was very choppy,i wrote to P&O and some rude customer care girl rang me and virtually called me a liar SO NEVER AGAIN WITH P&O
