So I got an account on CC and started reading some reviews and really dont understand what people are complaining about. This is our 1st time on Breakaway, we been on Getaway twice so we knew everything already and seen it all before. Same ship pretty much. So clearly we love Norwegian. We went on Royal Oasis in between but came back to NCL. Its always just my fiance I, no kids, rarely another couple. We pay to get away.
Just relax and enjoy. I swear I dont even think about money or work. Everyone will make money, time will never be made so enjoy it. If you have to pay a little extra, you'll be thankful later for the memories.
We got the packages, the dining, wifi, drinks, discounts. We didnt even make it to all 3 dining options we could have had, left my phone on airplane mode the whole time except twice onshore to check on the dogs, we aren't pissed. We had a blast, we made friends, we made memories, and yes, we spent money that we weren't planning on, big deal, well worth it.

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom
Great as always. Bottom balcony so makes you feel safer if you lean to far over since there is an extended roof from the 8th floor just outside your balcony. No obstructions of views.

Nice clean private island. Walk back to ship to eat and drink, then come back for the afternoon.
Costa Maya
Can walk off into tourist area. Salt pool, chairs to sit. Warning, people will try to get you to buy a drink to sit in chair, even if you bought a drink at the other pool bar and walked over.
