We chose this cruise to take our two grandsons on their first cruise. This was our fifth Celebrity cruise, but the first in three years. After we boarded (in a reasonable amount of time) we went to our stateroom (a family veranda) and were quite pleased especially the size of the veranda. Unfortunately the room was not totally clean. Couple this with our not getting one of our suitcases until after we left port made for a stressful first day.

There were plenty of activities and more than enough to keep an eight and twelve year old busy. Unfortunately unless you got on deck by 8:00AM you got no deck chair. Also twice we could find no seat to watch a show. IMO the ship cannot handle in a comfortable manner the number of passengers they had on board.

The food and service in the main dining were both good and our waiter really took care of our grandsons. We also felt that breakfast in the mdr was very good. We ate some breakfasts and all lunches at the buffet and other than finding a seat sometimes thought both the quality and variety were very good.
