The Balmoral

We chose this cruise as there was a good chance of seeing wildlife. We were not disappointed. They had a naturalist onboard who spent many hours on deck looking for whales etc and then got everyone interested in looking also.

The ports of call were just right especially as we stayed overnight on the ship in Reykjavik.

The check in at Rosyth was so easy. Pulled up in our car and had the luggage taken away, all we then had to do was park the car and check in. Quick, easy and onboard in no time.

Cabin Review

Outside

Cabin E

Two single beds, very comfortable. Air conditioning was adequate. Lots of storage space. T.V. with UK programs including news. View your onboard account on the T.V. Safe in one of the wardrobes. Kettle with tea, coffee and milk that was replenished twice a day also a carafe of drinking water. Good shower in bathroom but no bath, toiletries were basic. Small fridge.

Our cabin steward did a great job keeping our cabin nice, replacing towels etc without asking.
