Everything on this ship is over crowded. Lines and long waits for almost all the dining venues. Everywhere we went aboard this ship was crowded except for the Diamond Lounge. This was a Caribbean cruise and the design of the ship, open on the inside, means the ship was very warm throughout. We had our room thermostat turned all the way down and the room never really cooled off. Lots to do but again crowded. Reservations necessary for shows due to large numbers of cruisers. Service was again slow because of the numbers. The food aboard was average. We had a balcony cabin which was nice and our room steward was great. The embarkation and disembarkation processes did go fairly smooth given the crowds. Also Royal Caribbean has a nice app that you can use to track daily activities and make reservations for dining and shows. We’ve been on nearly 50 cruises and this cruise aboard the Allure was among the worst that we’ve ever experienced.
