Normally we would never have chosen such a large cruise ship but we picked this ship because of the range of activities for our daughter, our son-in-law and our grandchildren ages 6 and 8, To our surprise we enjoyed the ship as much as they did. Embarkation was smooth and easy. We picked the earliest boarding time (11:00-11:30 AM) and were on board having a buffet lunch in the Windjammer by 11:45 AM.

We booked two adjoining Central Park View cabins. They were spacious and convenient to elevators, stairways and to Central Park. We loved all the dining options especially the many complimentary restaurants. We never went to the breakfast buffet because we tried a different complimentary breakfast venue every day. We especially enjoyed being able to walk downstairs to Central Park and have breakfast or a snack at the Park Café which was never crowded.

Dinner in the main dining room was great. We were seated at an ocean view table which the grandchildren loved. The wait staff was super and so attentive to the kids. Always brought them a serving of fresh fruit while we checked out the dinner menu. And we always left with a plate of chocolate chip cookies for the kids to enjoy back in their room.
