This was my first cruise with my new wife and we loved "the pink ship". I really did not mind the decor I had read reviews about it and it really was what I was expecting. We choose this as our honeymoon cruise and the crew really made us feel special.
It was super easy on embarkation day. We went to brunch in Long Beach before we got on and showed up at our pre-selected boarding time and pretty much walked right on to the ship. We had a balcony cabin and it felt pretty roomy with a couch next to the bed. We spent most nights in the piano bar singing along with Gary.
Two little hiccups that happened on the cruise. The first was in Cabo our excursion (we booked the sail and snorkel) got canceled (to many jelly fish in the area) and I did not here about it until we got off the ship, because it is tendered it would have been to difficult to go back to the ship right way to get different supplies. We still had a great time and going over to the beach and relaxing. Carnival refunded us so we booked another excursion in Puerto Vallarta which was the sunset sail. This was great right up until the transmission broke on the sail boat. Good thing we booked through carnival otherwise we would have been left in Puerto Vallarta.
Cabin was great. Couch next to the bed gave us a nice sitting area to relax. My wife could also lay out several outfits to decide which one to choose. It was so nice to because she is an early riser and she would sit out on the balcony and read while I was still snoozing
My excursion got canceled but we still had a great time at the beach
We loved going to the piano bar and the comedy club after dinner.
Sea days the pools were crowded but we could usually find spots. But the one thing I didn’t like was there is no pool on the adults only deck.
