First off, The Majesty of the Seas is not one of the Oasis class ships new to the blue seas, but is the perfect value smaller getaway ship for a 4-5 day cruise. We have been on the larger ships as well and had a great time on our recent cruise. My wile and I recently went on a 5-day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale and visited Key West and Nassau, Bahamas. Plus two relaxing days at sea. I highly recommend snorkeling in Key West. We also bought a day pass online in advance at the British Royal Hilton in Nassau (included full use of beach/pool, kayaks, generous food/beverage credit and towels). The Hilton is a 10-minute walk from the cruise terminal in Nassau. We totally enjoyed both outings. The rooms are small, but all we do in our stateroom is sleep, shower and change so we didn't mind at all. See attached photo of our room 5516. Our room attendant was our best on any cruise to date. The entertainment was really good each night! On par with other RC ships. We saw two different comedians, singing and dancing group was off the charts (two shows) - fantastic, with a full orchestra, and an amazing piano player from Australia who played classic rock and Jerry Lee Lewis. Dining - We are vegan and found very delicious offerings to meet our plant-based diet. The Windjammer buffet was excellent for breakfast and lunch. They had soy milk! We also had a vegan pizza made at Sorrento's pizza restaurant. Hold the meat and cheese please :)! In the main dining room, our head waiter helped plan our vegan dinner for the next day. All meals were delicious! Don't worry, they still have shrimp cocktail apps, prime rib and seafood for those of you that partake! Enjoy! All and all, this was one of the most relaxing cruises we have been on to date. Don't listen to the negative Nellie's, this smaller ship offers a fantastic quick getaway at a reasonable price. A good value. If you want more options and amenities then spend more for one of the larger newer ships. We'll be back on The Majesty of the Seas again soon!

Cabin Review

Ocean View
Cabin 1N 5516
Cabins were small but we don't spend much time in the stateroom.

Bed was comfortable.

Cabin was clean and tidy.

Bathroom was larger then most due to shower curtain and not the typical circle glass shower door found on most ships.
