Cabin: Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Embarkation was easy with the KEY program. We arrived around 11am and were brought right onto the ship even though our rooms weren't ready until about 1pm. I bid and won on the Royal Up program and was upgraded from Ocean View to a Balcony Cabin the night before we left! The cabin itself was a balcony (7160) at the aft end of the side of the ship. It was the perfect balcony as it seemed more private than the rest with a solid steel divider between the adjacent balcony, and nothing to the other side. The staff are what made this cruise well worth it. After 5 other cruises with Royal Caribbean and 2 on other lines; the staff on this cruise went so much further to make sure we were happy for the entire cruise! The ship itself was showing it's age a bit. There were bits of rust showing in places and during the cruise parts of the pool deck were closed from time to time for repainting. The entertainment was pretty good for this smaller ship - the parade of flags was well worth it! If there's one reason to go back on this ship it's between that and the crazy amazing staff.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 3B

The location of this cabin was fantastic. The balcony was more private than most as it was at the end of the ship with a solid metal wall between the other balconies and this one; the other side of the balcony was just a door to a storage area that was locked. The cabin itself was well maintained but was showing it's age on some of the fixtures like cabinet doors and drawers. The entire cabin was very clean as I have experienced on other Royal Caribbean cruises.

Port Reviews

Perfect Day at CocoCay

CoCoCay was by far the favorite stop for this cruise. The beach was fantastic and it had some really neat amenities. Aside from being windy the weather was great and the pool areas were a nice addition for those who didn't enjoy the beach in the wind.

Nassau

The places outside of the port area and the actual town are fairly run down. If I were to visit this port again I would either consider staying on the ship or taking an excursion to the touristy Resort area for a nice beach. The local people are friendly for the most part however the local authorities on the pier were very rude and were preventing some from returning to their ship because they didn't bring their passports ashore with them.
