My NYPD and US NAVY Friends highly recommended NCL. This was our first Cruise. We are New Yorkers so we didn’t have to fly cross country to Cruise. The Norwegian Escape was a beautiful ship and very family oriented. As soon as we stepped onto the ship, the staff made us feel welcomed. The international crew gave us insight into their different cultures. We learned how to say many words such as “hello” and “thank you” in Turkish, German, Philippine, and Hindu. Our State room was awesome. The balcony was great. The Food, Drinks, Service, Friendly Officers, Crew and Staff, Entertainment, Theater, and Excursions were Excellent. We were amazed and so excited to meet the actors of Choir of Man and the many other shows in the Escape Theater. We also loved the live music around every corner of the ship. Chelsea Reynolds especially accommodated all of our song requests and we enjoyed every minute of her music. We traveled with our 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son. The kids loved the water park and zip line. I would recommend NCL to my Family and Friends. I would like to Thank the Food/Drinks Director KIVANC UCAR for Turkey bacon/sausages since we don’t eat pork. I would also like to thank Captain Giovanni for the smooth sailing without any incidents and his great cocktail party. The kids are still singing the Washy Washy song by Gerald and Rowen. They were an unforgettable duo! Overall, our first cruise experience was truly wonderful and we are definitely going to be considering NCL for our next cruise.
