Norwegian Bliss is an incredible ship built for adults who love to wine, dine and enjoy some great music and adult entertainment - all were in abundance. This is my 4th cruise (but first time on Norwegian). See my specific comments and I also added some tips for traveling with kids ages 10-12 I wish I had known before we went.
Food: was incredible in every location. Specialty dining package was great and glad I did it.
Drink Package: I was worried we would not get good brands or good service, but was quite the opposite. There is no "catch" to this package, was easy to get a drink and was nice to not have to tip for every drink (gratuities are paid in advance when you pay for your cruise).
Cabin was what I expected, we opted for the Balcony and were very glad we did. Don't need it to see the views, we actually preferred deck 8 or Observation lounge, but having the balcony made the room feel bigger and was really nice to get fresh air. Don't think you have to have a balcony on this ship though to enjoy the views. I did try for the upgrade bid, but did not get it. I thought with 4 people in cabin would be a problem with 1 bathroom, but wasn't really an issue. Lots of storage and all our suitcases fit under the bed.
Glacier Bay was beautiful. Check it out from Deck 8. You can see it up close.
We were not there long enough to enjoy. We started walking and there was no transportation to take us back because the area was so packed with tourist traffic. Was really stressful. Wish I had stayed on boat and enjoyed last night on Bliss.
