Majesty of the Seas July 13 thru July 17 Room 6045 – Tween Deck We chose the Majesty of the Seas because of the stop in Cuba. Unfortunately, Cuba was cancelled and replaced by Nassau. We did receive half our cruise fare back. We flew in the day before and stayed at the Best Western Oceanfront. Great hotel. The ocean is behind the property. So a quick, two block walk and we sat on the beach for a few hours before leaving for the ship. We used LYFT for all our transportation. Only one time did the driver have trouble finding us and that was at the airport. So, we used a cab that had stopped right in front of us. LYFT definitely is less costly. Arriving at the port around 11:15am, we were on board by 1130am. The lines were short going thru security. We walked right up to the check in window. The Windjammer was almost full by the time we got there around noon. We liked the variety in the Windjammer and the desserts were great. When we got to our room around 115pm our luggage was already there. Our room was on Deck 6 (Tween Deck). We chose this location because of easier access to the pool/dining room. This was a quiet deck. Only once during the 4 days did I hear people in the hallway. The room was small but worked for the two of us. Our room stewardess, Ni, did a great job for us. We had requested distilled water and an extension cord for my husband’s CPAP machine. It arrived later that evening. We had any time dining in the Sterling Dining Room. We did eat there 3 of the 4 night. Even had the same waiter 2 of those nights. Service was excellent. Food was wonderful, we ate at a table for 2 all 3 nights. The comedian for the welcome abroad show was excellent. This was the only show we went to. The show rooms are located in the front of the ship. Loved the fact you don’t have to walk thru the casino to get to the show rooms. LIDO Deck was our favorite. We were able to find chairs in a shaded area. The pool areas were crowded. Later in the evening you could actually get in the pools and walk around. The hot tubs weren’t as crowded as I’ve seen. The only thing negative was the big TV on the pool deck so the same thing all day long. Seems they could have found something else to show. We purchased all our excursions thru Royal Caribbean and were well pleased. In Key West, we did the Hop On/Hop Off Trolley and Butterfly Conservatory. We would love to do this again. Really enjoyed this stop in Key West. We did stop and eat at Sloppy Jo’s before getting back on the trolley to go back to the ship. We booked the Blue Lagoon, VIP tour. The ferry type boat takes all of the tours going to Blue Lagoon. The VIP tour gives you a choice of two different adult only beaches. We paid $56 for a cabana (bed type) rental. Lunch buffet was also included in the tour price. There were also waiters to get drinks or anything else you may need. By far, this was our favorite tour. Upon returning to the ship that night we had a late lunch in Johnny Rockets. Service was great here. Debarkation day we took the Everglades Airboat Ride. They dropped us off at the airport at the end. Very interesting tour and a great way to spend the morning. We enjoyed our cruise on the Majesty. It was nice to experience a smaller s

Cabin Review

Interior
Cabin 4V 6045
Located on deck 6 (Tween Deck) interior room was small but sufficient for us. We had asked for distilled water and an extension cord for my husbands CPAP machine. This was delivered our first night before dinner.

The location was quiet even though we were the first cabin on the hallway connecting to the main hallway.
