Chose because of itinerary. Ship needs to be refurbished, food was not up to Princess standards and neither was the service. Loved the ports, but would cruise on a newer ship. Entertainment poor except for comic one night.

Cruise Director not very engaging. Grandson loved it, met new friends. The meals in the main dining room were certainly not enticing to teens. Taking us from port to port the ship served its purpose. When sailing through Glacier Bay not enough narrative before entering to explain how long we would be there. Glacier Bay was breathtaking and just awesome, would have loved some hot coffee or hot chocolate to be served on the outside decks. I guess this crew and service staff just weren’t into going that extra mile for the passengers.

The cruise made wonderful memories and lasting impressions of Alaska, but Alaska did that it had nothing to do with the ship.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

Cabin adequate, pullout sofa mattress was awful. Bathtub rather than shower stall, awkward to get in and out of. Prefer shower stall no matter how small. We were in a mini suite and the size was not overly large, on most of our other cruises on Celebrity this is the size of a regular balcony cabin only difference this cabin had two televisions. The pullout couch for my grandson was terrible, we had to ask for another mattress to be placed above the original so he didn’t have the metal bar across his back.

My experience from other reviews is very different, the ports of call were wonderful, we did our shore excursions privately and had no complaints whatsoever. The food not up to Princess standards along with the service. Two formal nights, and the majority of the passengers never dressed.
