Took daughter and 2 granddaughters (ages 7 and 4, their first cruise ever) and my granddaughters were treated like princesses....by room steward, dining room waiters, photography staff, Kareoke activity host, and by the youth center staff. They didn't want to leave the ship. They explored new foods other than pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers, and seemed to find new favorites. They saw whales in Juneau, and rode a train in Skagway. They both felt it was their best vacation ever. Personally, the food was very good to excellent, particularly in the dining room venues. Entertainment from the cruise singer/dancer staff was super (total three shows) and there was a magician on another day. Watched the movie Dumbo with my granddaughters in the Princess Theater. Excursions purchased from Princess in Juneau and Skagway were fun, entertaining, and educational (whale watch in Juneau and details on gold rush and building of a railroad from Skagway through the White Pass to the Yukon). Had an excellent time.
