Never have we cruised with Princess before, and believe me we will never cruise with them again. We had the understanding that this ship had very recently been refurbished. Once in board, we saw little evidence of this. The ship is very OLD AND TIRED.
Dining on board was not good. We ate in the main dining with a 7:30 seating. We had a large group of 14 and had thought we could all sit together. This was not the case. We were sitting by each other, but at 2 separate tables. The head server would “suggest” his picks for dinners, which he would add that the picks were not good. We had 2 formal nights. Having read the required attire we do not remember the mention of NO shorts for men. The first formal night 2 men of our group had nice linen shorts. We had the exchange of words with the head guy and finally sat. The 2nd formal night one of our group only had shorts with him, he was not permitted to enter for dinner.
The cabins were small although clean.
Small and tired. Needs to be refurbished.
