The itinerary was amazing including Iceland (3days) and Norway (2 days). Leaving from Southampton was a little difficult. Cork, Dublin, Belfast were great ports of call. Not landing in Amsterdam meant that you had to take the ship"s excursion. This was indeed a money grab. NCL should prepare passengers by informing them ahead of time so that arrangements can be made. Some passengers were not able to get to Amsterdam.

The large production shows were very good the rest was poor. The service at the main dining rooms for breakfast and lunch was very slow. The guest service was great at times and at other times very poor depending who was there serving you. The Scenic Cape tour was extremely poor. The guide spoke very poor English. The Stardust Theatre was terrible-poor sound, lighting and seating. The food at the buffet was better than the main dining rooms. The Lagoon"s chocolate brownie sundae was the best.

The food was good, not exceptional, the service was OK and sometimes felt forced or strained and not genuine. There was of course some good service some of the time. The cabin was clean and that was all.

Belfast

The small villages were delightful.

Amsterdam

This was a money grab. It was only transportation to and from Amsterdam. It was a shuttle and should have been provided by NCL for a nominal fee like the other shuttles.
