I chose this cruise line because I desired to take my family to Alaska. The embarkation and disembarkation were the smoothest and most professional parts of the cruise. The cruise catered to a specific demographic and offered very little for others. It was not child/teenage friendly and provided limited services for them. Most of the staff was not friendly or professional and were simply there to do a job. They were not there to provide a memorable experience. The photographers did not take good quality photos which gave a limited selection to choose from. We desired to buy more photos but could not. The food selection and quality did not meet the standard of other cruise lines. Some of the cabins were nicely sized but had very small showers. Each Port of Call was very nice, had great scenery and offered less expensive excursions on shore. All of the excursions (purchased all after arriving at port) were nice except the last (Victoria), which provided almost no excursion opportunities because we arrived at 7:00 p.m.. This cruise line provided a very poor cruise experience and simply fed and transported us from one location to another.
The cabins were spacious and had a lot of closet space but the showers were extremely small.
Port offered very little and we arrived at 7 p.m. when everything was closed and there was almost nothing to do. Most got off ship and returned disappointed in less than 2 hours.
