I chose this cruise for the low price and interesting ports. I won’t cruise NCL again. Complimentary restaurants too crowded, loud & busy with multiple children running around. Overabundance of specialty (fee based) restaurants crowd the complimentary ones. Prices for specialty restaurants, bottled water, beverage packages, photos, room service & shore excursions were excessive. Shore excursion staff only interested in sales not helpful or informative. Shore excursion disembark exit typically empty- general exit > 1 hour wait for some ports. Guest service personnel not friendly. Beverage service areas signage prohibit filling water bottles; embarkation staff prohibits bring bottled water aboard forcing purchase of expensive NCL logo water. NCL App useless without expensive WiFi charges/person which are exorbitant! Most disappointing was continued plethora of emails boasting free WiFi, beverage, restaurant & shore excursion packages for latitudes members which I AM! However, NCL refused to honor any offers after booking. My overall opinion: NCL is so worried about getting $$$ from the passengers they forget the passengers!
The cabin was the best part of the cruise.
The tour guide could not always be understood her accent was so thick. She lied to us about the timing and about the schedule for the trip. We sat around for an hour and a half waiting for the canal crossing then had to hurry through the museum in the end with only a few minutes to see the historic site. We returned to the ship an hour late and did not have an opportunity for lunch as promised.View All undefined undefined Reviews
