I'd heard that NCL was similar in quality of food and service as Celebrity, but I quickly found this not to be true.

The timing was right and I wanted to visit Iceland and Norway, so I booked a guaranteed outside cabin.

Southampton was not easy to get to from Scotland by public transport, and it wasn't my first choice for starting a cruise, now I've done it once, I'll avoid it in future.

Cabin OB

Clean and bright. A few luggage marks. Plenty of hangers. Small TV with a loose plug. Plumbing issues, mainly the toilet which stopped twice. Fixed fairly quickly. US plugs. Spacious shower. Banged my head a few times between the WC and sink.
