We just got back from a 4 day Bermuda on the Sunrise. We chose this cruise because of the length as we did not have the time to book the 8 day to the Caribbean. Regardless, we had so much fun. The ship is in great condition and I thought they did a great job with the refurbishment. You are able to tell that the ship is older, however the cabins and guest areas have been quite modernized and are definitely a big step up from the older carnival ships.

Our cruise director Chris (the Flying Scotsman) was fantastic! is is always full of energy and he seems to make an appearance at every event around the ship. The fun squad and DJ were good. But we wish they had a few more deck parties as those are usually our favorite on Carnival.

We enjoyed our cabins very much as well. We had the interior with walkway views on deck 7 at the front of the ship. It was great having a full size window just like an Oceanview cabin. Read more
