This was our first cruise to Alaska and our 10th cruise with Norwegian. We had 2 other couples that went with us on this Alaska cruise. Our journey started with us arriving in Seattle the day before the cruise. We stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown Bellevue and had a great evening. We took a shuttle to the Port of Seattle and was ready to go. Embarkation was a breeze no problems at all. We got on the ship and went to the Garden Café for lunch while our room was getting ready. Lunch was great the employees of Norwegian were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. We walked around the ship with our map to make sure we knew where most of the places were located on the ship. The Observation Lounge on the 15th floor was to die for. It was spacious, had food, a bar, and the view was magnificent. Lots of chairs to lounge around and relax and meet a lot of people. Just before the boat was to leave we by to see if our cabin was ready. We stayed in a spa mini suite on the 15th floor. Wow our room was spacious with a balcony and our bathroom had a spacious shower with power jets that so soothing to take a shower everyday. The sink in the bathroom was long with 2 jets. The closet space was ample for the 2 of us. We had access to the spa everyday and boy did we use it. With the purchase of the spa mini suite the thermal spa was complimentary to us. The spa was a class act. we had use of the Salt room, Snow room, the whirlpool which is large. We enjoyed just laying on the warm chairs and take a nap and relax. The dining and food was so great we had a 4 meal speciality dining package. Our best restaurants were Cagneys, Teppanyaki, Le Bistro, Los Lobos and Ocean Blue. Ocean Blue food was so good and the service in all the restaurants listed were top notched. We also did Taste and Savor for lunch and breakfast. They were a hidden secret for lunch. The food was so good and also the service was excellent. We also had the drink package so we stop at most of the bars. The best ones were the Atrium Bar, The Local Bar, The district Brew House. We also attended 2 shows Havana and Jersey Boys. Loved the dancing and costumes in both shows. The comedy show that we did attend was okay .We loved the casino and was there every night playing our penny machines. Alaska is a beautiful place. The weather was beautiful. First stop Juneau. We did the excursion whale watching. We loved it. It was 4 hours . We saw a mother whale with her baby whale what a beautiful picture to see. The people that took us out on the boat were very friendly and happy. This was a great tour. On our way back to the boat we saw trees with bald eagles just hanging on the limbs and on light posts. The weather was in the 70 very warm. Next stop Skagway. We did the White Pass Train which took us all up in the mountains and glaciers. What a beautiful sight. We crossed over in Canada for a little bit. We took a lot of pictures. Then when we came back to the boat went in and ate at Alaska King Crabs legs &Fresh Halibut fish and chips which was right on the dock by the cruise ships. The King Crab legs were sweet and taste delicious. The best I have eaten in a long time. The next day was cruising the Glacier. It was cold but what a beautiful sight. We saw lots of ice glaciers. Took a lot of pictures. Then we did Ketchikan. We did not do a tour but walked of the boat to walk around it was raining so we had to wear a raincoat. The mountains was still beautiful even though it rained. Our last stop was Victoria Canada. There was not much to see here since we got there at night 8.00pm. So we just walk and got back on the boat.

The Bliss is a beautiful ship and so much to do that we will have to go back to Alaska to continue seeing all the beauty of mother nature. We would do the Alaska cruise again and on Norwegian Ship. The food , our stateroom, the employees all the activities to do made our trip a TRIP of a lifetime.!!! I forgot the gym We did exercise several days at the gym. State of the art equipment. This trip was worth the money.

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

The spa mini suite was a spacious suite and had enough room for both myself and husband.

There were enough drawers to put your belongings and the closet space was just enough for both of us. The bathroom was to die for. The best shower with all the spa like jets made you want to take showers twice a day. The sink was long had 2 jets. Lots of space in the bathroom that could hold 2 people comfortable, There was space under your bed to put your luggage so that your room would not be cluthered. Nice room!!!
