Seattle to/from fit our travel plans best. We spent a couple days prior visiting Seattle. Embarkation was easy. The (experienced cruisers with Carnival) couple that joined us said they had never had it that easy.
Ship was clean and full of activities. Crew was magnificent. Dining food and experience was wonderful. Entertainment was Great! Ports were fascinating. A couple of the excursions were not really as they were marketed, but would have done it again.
Looking for a 4-5 day cruise in Caribbean, (NCL agent) was my first call. Only because of a very limited number of choices for me (duration, time frame, location), may need to go to Carnival for this trip with my two kids. Will return to NCL.
Perfect! I reserved the balcony because of scenes of the cruise between ports (ex. glacier).
There was a good size of bath/shower, loved the scenes from the deck, bed was comfortable. Closet space was plenty. The communication (mail) was plentiful, our steward was magnificent! He didn't make animals with the towels, he did however catch us in the halls and ensured we had everything we needed. The balcony had a couple chairs and a small table. Plenty of space.
Cannot say enough good things about this. Love the people, the dogs, the experience.
Seats were a little small (for a guy my size) and the trip was hot, although temps were higher than usual. Learned a lot, great scenic views.
The magnitude of it is difficult to describe. Such beauty and power.
Went on a small tour to see bears, although did no see any. Still a nice trip. Visited a bar for a shot of whiskey in every port and this was my favorite. Met a gentlemen from Russia and had a great time before getting back on the boat.
Short stop, mostly at night. Not much to say.
The bus tour was great, interesting history, good stops along the way.
