My family and I choose this cruise because we want to try a different cruise line plus we want to do the free style cruising and the Mediterranean was on our bucket list and boy we where super excited.. We flew into Barcelona two days earlier to explore the city and it didn’t disappoint us , the food , the people and the tours was amazing . Embarkation and Disembarkation was super smooth but getting to our room was a little confusing . Entering the hallway towards our room it smell like wet carpet or Sewage and I mean it smell like that every day . After entering our room it was ok nothing to be crazy about the bed had long hairs underneath the covers and mirrors look like it hasn’t been clean for weeks , there where dust on the furniture so we had to call for them to come back to Re-clean the room , but the view from our balcony on the 14deck was amazing . I have been in the customer service business for over 25 years and a few of the staff at the front deck , the way they talking to customer was super unprofessional and disrespectful and you do not talk to guests like you are annoying or mad at them because they have question or a problem that’s why you’re their to help ok and if you don’t like your job quit . The guys at the pool bar was on point especially Michael he was amazing he remember my name and what my wife and I drink all the time . So my wife and I Celebrate our 16 years Wedding Anniversary and it was her birthday also so we when for dinner at La Bistro the food and the wine was amazing and our sever (April) was fantastic she was attentive and always Smiling. The entertainment on the boat was ok . The Magic show was a little lame . My son he’s 15 and he didn’t even wanna go back to the teens club because he said it was lame and boring . Breakfast suck because everyday it’s the lame things over and over . The port of call was amazing except Naples , it was dirty and smelly and the people are super rude . If i end up back in Naples I would rather stay on the boat or take a trip down to Pompeii . Rome was one of our favorite stop because of the rich history and I advise anyone who wants to take a tour of the Colosseum you will need to book a tour guide if not you will be there all day in the long lines . Overall we had fun on all of our excursion but be advice wear some comfortable walking shoes..
