Celebrity Millennium Cruise Review by spartan73
- Sail Date: June 2019
- Destination: Alaska
- Cabin Type: Aqua Class
aAlaska not many people get to see. We were lucky to see Denali from the north and south side of the mountain. It was very warm and two of the hotels did not have A/C just fans.
The ship was very clean and the staff could not do enough for you. Blu restaurant for Aqua Class passengers was excellent in the service and food. The staff could not do enough for you to make you feel special. The staff took the time to talk to you about your day and family.
The excursions we took were great. The Pilots Choice helicopter tour was expensive but worth it. We landed on the Taku Glacier (only 6 on tour + pilot) and the Juneau Ice Field (Tricouni Peak). Beautiful Alaska.
In Skagway we took the White Pass Railway tour and train. Amazing views - highly recommended.
The public areas were very nice and the entertainment was good. The different activities allowed you to do different things each day. The internet on the ship was slow - I did not use it. I waited until the ports to connect.
Would highly recommend to visit the 49th state to see Alaska and learn about the people who live(d) there.

Helicopter TourPilots Choice Helicopter Tour. Excellent - pilot said it was only the second time this year that he landed on the Juneau Ice field since weather was perfect. Also landed and walked on Glacier.View All 121 Helicopter Tour Reviews
