We chose this cruise because we wanted to try Celebrity. We are Emerald level on Royal and heard it was a step above. The food was about the same except the specialty restaurant was superb. We missed the quality of entertainment that Royal provides. We loved the coffee shop and desserts there. The ice martini bar was a lot of fun. We missed the pizza centrally locates on Royal and ice cream at the pools. This was listed as a luxury cruise but I did not see much difference than Royal. Embarkation was very easy and liked the welcome champagne. We were able to access our room very quickly. The buffet was average but felt like ants on an anthill. There needed to be more entertainment and more shops onboard. The prices for the spa were higher than on Royal and the time was less. The ship was refurbished but was not finished in time for our sailing. The new areas are very nice.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1A

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were comparable to Royal. The balcony was the same as Royal.

We snorkeled in several locations including the caves. We saw sea turtles and a lot of fish.
