This was an awesome cruise! We are first-timers on NCL. Many timers on Carnival. I have to say I was very impressed. Restaurants were good! We only had one speciality restaurant and it was excellent. We booked our shore excursions though NCL- they were very organized and good. We saw three shows and were very pleased with the high level of quality entertainment. We travelled with my 81 year old father. We had plenty to do on the ship as we like to read and relax. My husband and I visited the all adult area on the 16 th deck and enjoyed our time there. I do think by the end of the cruise the regular restaurants- no fees were a little lacking in service. Food was always good though. What I really noticed was the many female officers onboard. Kudos to NCL! My one advice would be to ask for ice for your room in the beginning. By the 4 th day our steward knew to leave ice. I would sail NCL again and how can you beat the cool weather in the Baltics this time of year.
