Had Sky Suite 10159. Room nice but not big. Similar to a nice hotel room. Balcony again on the small size but adequate. Service - fantastic. Butler could not do enough for us. Waiter, assistant waiter and Sommelier in Luminae - fantastic. We had a party of 7 - 4 adults and 3 young kids. Treated exceptionally wherever we went in suite area. Suite guests have their own part of the ship, including a large retreat lounge with 24/7 service and Concierge who could not do enough for us. Suite guests also have their own pool area and bar. Would thoroughly recommend the "suite" life - it is exceptional on the Edge.
Ship itself was innovative and experiences were different from normal cruising. In suite area, photographers were non existent which made a nice change. No cheap sale events and formal nights (renamed evening chic) were on port days. There were 2 evening chic nights in the 7 day cruise.
Staff very attentive. In summary, good changes to normal ship cruising, excellent food and service.
Just as an added extra, we did a back to back - the 2nd cruise was in Concierge Balcony class. The review of our cabin is extremely different. If you want a traditional balcony that you can sit out, close off your cabin door and enjoy the fresh air, then it has to be a suite.
Nice room. Not large but adequate. Balcony similar - a little on small size. Room had the feel of a good quality hotel room with sliding glass window between bathroom and bedroom, double sink in bathroom, separate toilet and a bath.
