This was our second cruise overall and first on NCL. Our previous cruise was in a one-bedroom concierge room on the Disney Magic for comparison. We sailed in the 2-bedroom Haven suite for this roundtrip from Barcelona cruise. We were very happy with the Haven experience and the cabin. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the attention and service in the Haven restaurant. We never waited for anything. The value of the courtyard, pool, and private restaurant can not be understated, it was the best aspect of the cruise experience. We enjoyed the speciality dining too, but our one foray into the Manhattan Room was very disappointing in terms of food (our service was wonderful there, however). My kids really enjoyed the kids club, and they had a blast performing in the circus show at the end of the cruise. They loved the food too, though the kid's menu did not vary. We made use of a couple of specials onboard including massages and the laundry service. There is certainly a "situation" with the elevators on the ship, without a set mid-ship they got very crowded. We did not do any excursions through NCL, all were booked private or explore on our own. The only evening entertainment we attended (despite intention otherwise, hanging in the Haven was too appealing to venture out) was the Cirque show, which we all enjoyed despite mediocre food and service. I am confident if we cruise again we will go with the Haven.
