The Norwegian Jade chosen for its itinerary and convenient for dates of travelling. The balcony cabin was of a good standard but could do with a side table each side of the bed. the cabin stewards were excellent. The (washy washy) team made us smile in the buffet restaurants which started the day well. The choice of food was good for mass catering. But the speciality restaurants food could be improved for the price paid. The overall variety of entertainment was of a good standard with adequate seating in the theatre. The waiting staff were excellent with a good knowledge of the food that was being served. Some bar staff needed to know how to greet all customers even if its just with a smile.

The shore excursions were all over priced for the trips provided. The scenic Athens and coast there was no coastline, poor buffet lunch which did not represnt the Greek culture and food styles, served by surly waiters with no customer skills at all. Some fellow travellers thought the warm acidic wine on the table was vinegar. The only good thing about the trip was the whisper headsets, which were sadly lacking on all the other trips which made it very difficult to hear the guides in crowded cities. If not taking an orgainised excursion the help was poor and no maps were available onboard for self exploration.
