This was our third cruise..Second on Princess. The weather was not as sunny as we hoped, but still we were on vacation. We dined at Sabatini's and it was well worth the extra $20/pp. We had anytime dining and chose to eat both alone and with other couples. We met people from all over the country at both breakfast and dinner. The diningroom food was good, but I felt the buffet food could be a little less bland. Of course, a lot of people don't like spicy food. Another idea would be to add a mexican/tex mex type restaurant somewhere on the ship....I bet a lot of cruisers would enjoy loaded nacho's with their beer....Another area which we liked was the International Cafe that had a specialty coffee area and a pastry counter and also small sandwiches depending on the time of day.
The entertainment was the standard shows and comedienne/magician/jugglers...We really enjoy the comics...the casino is the usual smokey room with slots, etc. Our cabin was fine. We signed up for a guaranteed balcony and we assigned a room on Riviera Deck. We had a covered balcony which was nice. There was a little noise from the pool area above from time-to-time, but nothing to complain about. We were in R311 and would not mind staying here again.
All in all, we enjoyed this cruise but the weather was not as sunny as it coul
