We have sailed on NCL before- last year on the Gem to the Bahamas. That trip was lovely- the boat was smaller and not as modern, but the overall experience was better. Getting on and off the ship was easy- unfortunately, the called “last call” for our check out at 7:40- when our check out was 8:30-9:00- so we rushed- and that was the issue. You had to get to everything before it ran out it sold out- the shows- the buffet- the lounge chairs( good lord- let’s not go there- people save them forever and tons at a time- then go and sleep til noon. You go to deck at 7 am- and it’s empty, but all the chairs are taken- NCL has a policy on this, but doesn’t follow through). 18 and over deck- lol- no one is going to say much to dad putting his kids in the hot tub- so much for that. Want to watch something in the Atrium- better get there 1 1/2 hours early to be able to see anything! It was exhausting and created a negative vibe. And staff was fine- just so obviously overwhelmed and overworked- very different than our last experience with NCL. We made the best of it and had a great time- but it’s hard to enjoy yourself when you are surrounded by workers so obviously exhausted and stressed.

Cabin OX

We got an upgrade- but walks were paper thin- main level above us- lots of hanging yelling etc often
