Extraordinary Ship

Celebrity Equinox Cruise Review by jollernj

Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Jun 2019
  • Destination: the Western Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: AquaClass 1

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this cruise starting with the embarkation. The ship has been through a makeover and they have done a masterful job. Aqua class service is extraordinary as well as all common areas of the ship.

We chose to dine in Blu in the evening but also used the buffet for breakfast and lunch with plentiful options for both meals.

The nightly entertainment on board was exceptional. The casino was a lot of fun also.

The outside deck area are well maintained especially the lawn area. The only complaint that we would voice is the pools and solarium were very crowded on sea days with the typical lounge chair hogs placing towels and books on chairs early in the morning and not using them until they finished breakfast then leave sometime in the early afternoon leaving towels on the chairs to hold them should they desire to return. All cruise ships suffer from these very inconsiderate people. My suggestion is passengers with premium cabins should have reserved pool lounges for a least a period of daily time and must notify the pool attendants if they wish to use them

AquaClass 1
Cabin A1 1593

Very spacious with a small but very well appointed bathroom. Plenty of closet and storage for a seven day cruise.
