The ship is absolutely stunning. Everything was very clean and easy to navigate after the first day. The staff was some of the best! Mercy was our room steward and she is the sweetest! I was traveling with my grandmother and my son who is 10 months old. He loved her as much as we did. Everyone was so nice to us. Eat in the dining room! The food was excellent along with the wait staff. Alvaro, Richard, and Budianna took great care of us. They made sure we had everything we needed and made the experience very personable. They were so sweet to my son as well and very patient. Our cruise director Gary was so much fun and hilarious! The entertainment was so much fun. The trivia games were a blast and the shows were amazing. If you are going on the cruise in the near future make sure to catch the show Flick! This was such a fun and relaxing vacation. I just got home and I am already looking to book my next cruise. Great job Carnival!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin 6L

The cabin was very clean. The hallway is narrow so if you have any large objects (stroller, walker, ect) keep that in mind. The tub worked great for bathing my son. The bed and pillows are so comfortable.

Port Reviews

Galveston

The porters are very friendly and helpful. The process was a little hectic. We purchased Faster To The Fun which I would suggest as I believe it cut down on the amount of time spent waiting. My grandmother has trouble walking and uses a walker and I wish we would have taken them up on the offer for a wheel chair. It is a very long walk.

Progreso

We took the free bus into town. It drops you off at a flea market. There you can bargain some good deals but they will try to over charge you so make sure to bring some good bargaining skills and know when to walk away. Cheap massages which were very good. If you walk through the market there is a very beautiful beach behind it and a good restaurant. It has a Tecate sign on it. There is a great view of the ocean from the restaurant. They were very accomadating to my son who was upset. The chicken nachos were excellent. The chicken enchiladas not so much. We continued to have people coming to us trying to sell us stuff or begging for money. Some parts were beautiful other parts were a little rough. Overall nice place.
