Whilst the ship was ok, the staff were simply doing their job and no more, with the exception of the Steward and the Washy-Washy Ladies. Food was ok but no more. Bar staff seemed to not really care. Choice of drinks was ok, again, but no more, especially non-alcoholic versions of cocktails. The main desk staff were pretty hopeless and the WiFi non-existent. The worst thing really were the massively over-priced shore excursions. One trip to Athens included a disgusting 1970-style lunch and a wasted afternoon with a politically motivated courier under the guise of a Scenic coast. Shame because the cost and content of most of these excursions spoiled things. If you weren’t on a trip, they didn’t seem to care how to got about. The entire aim of the ship was really to extract dollars from your pocket. A real let down from what we were expecting and nowhere near as good as other cruise lines we have used. Would I recommend? Definitely not unless you like a truly American atmosphere and are happy to pay way over the odds for everything. Nuff said.

Cabin BA

Ok but a bit cramped. The toilet cubicle would not suit anyone of a ‘larger than average’ size. Needed to shuffle around the bed as it pretty much filled the room!

Athens (Piraeus)

Awful courier and disgusting lunch. Wish we had not done this trip. A bit of a waste of money for a hugely over priced excursion.
