We only chose to go on this because we had $250 nextcruise credit with NCL that was about to expire. Last time we sailed with them was in 2015 on the Breakaway and we were not too crazy about the service so we thought this would be our last cruise with NCL. I have to say that NCL redeemed themselves nicely on the Escape. Check in was a bit confusing. There was no longer a separate desk for Platinum members. Instead, they divided people according to their deck number. It was pretty smooth. It took us less than half hour to get on the ship.
We got the drink package as well as 3 night dining packages. It was worth every penny. We had drinks as soon as we were on board. If you're looking for a bartender that knows what they are doing, I recommend Iketut at the MIxx bar. Everything he made was superb.
We used our dining packages at Cagney's, La Cucina and Teppanyaki. Of the 3, I'd have to say La Cucina wins in terms of service and food quality.
Our cabin attendant, Sheldon was wonderful. He always cleaned up our mess with big smile.
