I booked this cruise due to ports only. It was going to all the places I wanted to see..Dublin, London, Paris. I had never sailed with NCL before, but I was not impressed with their website. Therefore, I did not have high expectations for the cruise itself. It met my low expectations. Having the norovirus break out on the 1st full sailing day made the experience that much worse due to the precautions put in place. I understood why but it made it very inconvenient. All buffets were closed except the main one which made it very crowded since everyone had to go there. With so many crew sick others had to step in, so the food was the same all the time. Didn't see much of anything changing, plus by the time you got food and a seat it was Luke warm to down right cold. Even the dining room was effected in that even the rolls/ bread were served instead of set on the table. Why? No one but the people at that table were going to 'touch' them. I will say we loved the inside cabin! Plenty of storage space, USB ports, and bathroom was roomy for a ship. Our cabin Stewart was the best! She even found a clean bowl I had 'hid' at a back of a shelf to use for breakfast the next morning as we would be arriving in port early and I didn't want to fight that breakfast crowd. As for excursions: Cohb was nice but the Kinsdale excursion was a waste except for the nice bus ride to see the country side the town itself shuts down on Sunday's! Only 1 store open to shop. Dublin was great! Great guide and nice stops at Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Since we were in port all day and not too far away, we were told by the guide if we wanted to stay in the city that was fine by her just let her know. That's what we did. Problem with this port was the tenders! The one we were on going to kept losing engine power kept thinking it was going to strand us. Going back it was cold and they didn't shut the doors all the way so you froze. London excursion was terrible! The guide was incompetent to say the least. Tower of London we saw crown jewels only nothing else! He had people standing in the rain with no rain gear to tell stories he could have told back on the bus. Wasted our time having the bus driver go through a neighborhood of warehouses turned apartments, so what! Paris was great! Only time I tipped the driver himself. The guild must have been an old history teacher, he answered all questions given to him. Though it was raining, the driver would slow to a crawl in order for us to see whatever we were passing. He gave us no less then 3 different views of the Eiffel tower. Choosing the Louve for our lunch stop was perfect. It gave you choices...eat, shop, or see the Louve itself. The other excursion that was great was Ghent. Beautiful town. Had another great guide there who was an older experienced woman. For those that didn't walk fast, she would go so far, stop and tell the group a story or explain something until the slower walkers caught up then she moved on. The chocolate tour was a bit of a waste but ok. Would have liked at least another hour to explore. Would love to visit this place for a longer time in the future. But that is what cruising is about! Getting a taste of places to see if you would like to go back for a longer visit. The cruise line did not vent their excursion companies very well especially in London. I felt sorry for some of the people who didn't booked private or cruise tours as some of the ports where a long distance from town or public transport. Glad I went but never again on NCL.

First time for inside cabin. You don't spend much time there anyway. The cabin was laid out very well. Plenty of storage space for clothes. If you know how to cruise and have things organized such as magnets to hold up cabin key lanyards, newsletters, so the small tables are readily useable for other things then you will not feel closed in. People said the noise would be bad but it wasn't that bad. Only when anchor was being dropped (1time) and thrusters being used to dock. But you were up and getting dressed anyhow. USB ports on small table under TV which was located perfectly and also on lights behind beds. This cabin was great for two older women who brought more clothes then needed!
