Silver Wind Cruise Review by HelenW76
- Sail Date: April 2019
- Destination: Cuba
- Cabin Type: Vista Suite
Regardless of all that, Silversea was as usual a great way to travel although I believe the restaurant menu layout has been changed to encourage guests to eat less courses than my cruise the previous year (prior to the takeover).
Silversea excursions are always informative and I saw some great places, I fell completely in love with Havana and plan on going back for a proper visit in the not too distant future.
The one area Silversea could really work on is the show lounge entertainment. The cast are always amazingly talented but they're stuck with Luna Rossa choreography and badly fitting costumes when they do the full cast shows. The individual shows are much more fun as personalities shine and you get properly entertained. Also making opera singers join in with musical theatre style shows is just wrong! I was very lucky that we had Colin as our cruise director and as a classical pianist he was able to provide some real music to let the opera singers shine.

Santiago de CubaGreat fun... lived the dream and smoked a cigar and drank rum in Cuba whilst watching cigars being made.View All 12,785 Santiago de Cuba Cruise Port Reviews
