The Wonder from Stanley Park in Vancouver
The Wonder pulling into Port in Vancouver.
The Wonder docking.

We previously sailed on the Disney Dream during a Bahamas cruise and loved the experience. When we decided to try Alaska this year, Disney was a no-brainer for our family. The Wonder, however, is a smaller ship than the Dream, as it is one of the two classic ships in Disney's fleet. Regardless, the Wonder was incredible, and we had an amazing time.

SHIP - OVERALL

The Wonder is a beautiful ship. For her age, she is in exceptionally great shape. The crew keeps her spotless. She is instantly recognizable in port with her white and navy color scheme. The interior is what a Disney fan would expect. Disney characters and art can be found throughout the ship, but it isn't overdone. Also, plenty of familiar Disney tunes are played in the common areas. The Wonder is on the luxury side of things in appearance and atmosphere.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 06A

My thoughts on the cabin are largely in the body of my review. This worked out well for our family, but next time, I would probably go up to the Deluxe Family Verandah. This is ideal for a family of four with smaller children. That said, my teenagers had no problem sleeping in the bunks. There was plenty of storage for all our clothes. We spent plenty of time in there, but it was a cruise, so we were frequently out. That said, we enjoyed the space quite a bit.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Vancouver is beautiful. We hung out there a few days in advance and loved it. We plan on going back again someday.
