The room was bigger than expected and the balcony was amazing. Enough room for multiple lounge chairs,  a table, and chairs for a meal outside.

The whale watching excursion was great.  Plenty of whales to see. However,  we saw plenty of whales from the cruise ship and didn't need to pay for this specific excursion. 

We took the white pass railway to mile post 14 and then hiked to the Laughton Glacier. The hike was moderate and approximately 9 miles with a gradual 1200ft. elevation increase. Once at the glacier we were given creepers to hike onto the ice. Amazing experience. 

Glacier Bay

We took a zodiac tour of ketchikan and neighboring islands.  We saw tons of bald eagles and had a blast  navigating the boat.  Would highly recommend. 

We specifically picked the NCL Bliss because the ship's observation lounge and waterfront experience was unique and seemed well suited for Alaska.The observation lounge and waterfront allowed for whale watching and sightseeing without the need for a balcony.
