We had to change ships on the 10th day of a 14 day cruise. Scenic was repositioning the Jewel and the Pearl due to high water problems on a prior cruise. Our comments are based on our experience on the Jewel in the first 10 days. Our experiences on the Pearl were NOT as good.

The crew and staff on the Jewel were very friendly, communicative, accomodating and fun to be with. They handled a passenger emergency in a very professional manner and all worked out in the end. The Captain was very visible and friendly.

The excursions were good and informative. We wish that there was more free time at some of the stops. Read more
