Sailed June 15th on our 11th cruise (9 with Carnival) celebrating our families various achievements in 2018. We are 6 months to 81 years and had 8 contiguous balconies, which is how we usually cruise. The balconies on this ship were TIGHT, as were the common areas. The Dream Class simply has too many people for the same size common areas of the smaller ships. Embarkation and debarkation were a "breeze" and of course the staff was excellent. Dining staff did seem a little overwhelmed and the shows at night were fair. Comedians were hilarious Our complaints are strictly with the number of people on board...guess we're just not bigger ship folks. We do love Carnival, just enjoy the smaller ships more. The kids LOVED the waterworks and Club O2, all of us loved the Trivia and Schwartz, our cruise director was amazing! We will cruise with Carnival again - so close to Platinum we can taste it - but on a smaller ship :)
