Quick review of our Celebrity Eclipse Hubbard Glacier Cruise June 20-30 2019....not one drop of rain the entire 10 days! The ship was very clean, friendly staff, decent buffet dining and ok main dining. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated in the main dining hall as we didn't have an assigned dining time. The wait staff was very polite, they are only human when small things are forgotten, and very quick to correct any oversight. The food was somewhat average, and portions were good. The beef wellington and lobster were very good, probably the best meal that we had during the main dining experience. Drinks/alcohol were plentiful, and not watered down. Several meals we only had one cocktail, as they were quite potent!

We were in Cabin 7292 midship. Very quiet room, centrally located near the elevators, very comfortable beds and large bathroom and balcony. We found it to have plenty of storage.

The onboard Entertainment was not great, the best show was Rondell Sheridan comedian. The casino was nice, never very crowded, but that may be due to the age of fellow travelers on an Alaskan cruise.

Sunset Veranda

Cabin SV

Cabin 7292 was midship, very quiet, great balcony view since it juts out a little, nice size bathroom, plenty of storage, you can store your empty luggage under the bed also. 2 hanging hooks inside the bathroom, 2 more near the door for robes, towels, etc.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

The town of Ketchikan is pretty, go Creek Street to see the more historic area. We only had a short layover at this port but it's pretty much just shopping. We didn't have a chance to see the lumberjack show, that seemed to be all that there was to do other than shop. We did however purchase our Sockeye Salmon in one of the shops...very nice folks and we like supporting a local fishery rather than the prepacked salmon on the ship and in the other stores.

Vancouver

Easy embarkation process.
