We chose this cruise to visit Dubrovnik as we had been denied the chance on a previous cruise due to very bad weather. We encountered a delay at Heathrow due to the baggage handling system breaking down but the flight to Venice was ok. We had a private transfer arranged to the ship but they were not there to greet us instead after some running around we were amalgamated with two other groups and taken to the ship. Check in was slow considering we had completed all the forms on line before leaving having to repeat the documents seem very inefficient. Our balcony cabin was ready and plenty big enough for the three of us, the decor was tired but clean. Muster was different in that we went out on deck under the lifeboats without life jackets and assembled in groups, the staff having checked everybody was there did the demonstrations. We chose my time dining and this work out well for us, the food and service in the main dinning room was good and we stuck to this for the whole cruise. One of my cruise pleasures is to be waited on at breakfast and have polite conversation, unfortunately this was denied by the buffet style in the main dining room which was poor compared to the windjammer self service offering. No in cabin kettles so coffee either from noisy pool side , busy cafe or a speciality in a paper cup with nowhere to sit. The shows in the evening were reasonable and varied. The weather was excellent and the ports we visited interesting but the over casualness of cruise and lack of basic dress sense detracted.
Standard offering for ship of this age, clean and tidy plenty of storage space although cases do not fit under bed, we stacked between a unit and balcony door. Everything worked as it should.
Terminal port only, we have visited previously and enjoy the ambiance but not the crowds
