We sailed a 'back to back' from Vancouver on 7th June to Seward returning by the 21st June. We thoroughly enjoyed the sights, trips and scenery even though we had a few days of rain.
So.. why not a rating of 5 ?
- no relevant guest speaker on the Northern Cruise, instead we had lectures on the Mayan Peninsula and cave diving. Celia Garland, the naturalist, gave excellent talks on Alaskan wildlife on the Southern cruise
New lay out was excellent and kept clean by cabin staff. We had a few maintenance issues with shower tray and washbasin plug.
Created for tourists - but great fun.
Excursions very expensive here. We had an interesting day waling around and taking a shuttle to Hoonah.
Lots of wild life in fjords.
Free time in Seward gave us time to use free wifi in sea-life centre.
