We selected this cruise based on recommendations from Cruise Managers from our prior cruises who highly recommend the Colors of Provence cruise. In addition we booked the pre cruise visit to Barcelona and the post cruise to Paris which I would highly recommend. The Ama Waterways staff was excellent notably the Cruise Manager Rachel Coutro who was with us for the entire two week and did a marvelous job. The Ama Cello is referred to as the Grand Dame of the fleet and is well appointed and comfortable. The food was very good and presented in a delightful way. They blended the food with Provence, the morning we visited a Truffle Farm when we returned to the ship for lunch the chef served pasta with truffe oil which was out of this world. The cabins are smaller than ocean going ships but are very comfortable. I am 6 foot 4 inch's and I fit in the shower without a problem. I would highly recommend Ama Waterways and will sail with them in the future.

The cabin was small but very confortable.

Port Reviews

Avignon

The Papal Palace was increadble. We really enjoyed the town sitting in the afternoon at a cafe having a drink.

Tournon-sur-Rhone

The Red Wine and Chocolate Tasting tour is a must do.

Arles

We did the Les Baux and Olive Farm tours which were very good.
