This ship was recommended to us by our Travel Agent. Why? Well we arent your tradtional cruisers, and I didnt fancy an old fashioned traditional cruise. Not even sure if thats a thing, but I had this idea that tradtional cruisers get dressed up for eating, and that is not something I aspire to.
I was also under the impression that everyone sits round listening to lounge music quietly drinking Martini, or taking ballroom dancing lessons. Again probably wrong, but i am sure you get the idea.
Anyway, from the ultra modern cabins, to the ultra modern theatre and very modern performers and performances, the fabulous food, the amazing staff, glorious restaurants, great pool area, that was never crowded and some great bars serving draft beer, what more could ask for?
Cabin Review
Edge Veranda Stateroom
Briilaint cabin. I loved the infinite Veranda, my wife didnt. Air con only works with the windo closed which kind of renders the inside sliding folding doors useless.
But sleepin as the ship sailed with the window wide open with the sound of the sea, was exquisite.
Ultra modern rooms and plenty of space, especially as you dont spend that long on the rooms.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)
We just wandered to Monte Carlo. Great looking place, but admiring the filthy rich isnt what I call fun. Folk with way too much wealth and flaunting like confetti.
Cannes
A pointless day this one, would have preferred a second day at sea. A not so rich mans Monte Carlo. And just down the road really.
Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)
very crowded and very very hot. Lovely cathedral mind. Well architecturally wise. Dodnt go in, not my thing.
