We chose this cruise mainly due to the itinerary. We wanted to go to Key West, and then say how the highly rated the Celebrity ships were, especially Equinox. We were not disappointed! Everyone from Captain Kate on down just made the whole experience one to remember! Our Cabin, the MDR, the entertainment, activities, the buffet, the bar service were all top notch.

We had anytime dining, so we did not sit at the same table each night. We enjoyed meeting new people. We only ate dinner in the MDR, and were pleased with everything except one entree each. The OVC Buffet was good, but could get crowded. The burgers at Mast Grill were very good, and fries were always crisp. We tried to eat at the Spa Cafe, but could never find it open when we wanted to eat there. Would have liked a quick snack when coming back from an excursion.

Sunset bar was our favorite. We got our 1st drink there for sail away. We also liked Craft Social for a pre-dinner glass of wine, and could always get a drink there or at the casino bar (even though we only walked through the casino) on our way to the theatre for a show. We also liked the frozen drinks at the pool bar.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin was wonderful. We were port-side aft, and it was very quiet. Plenty of room and storage. Not much was done to this cabin in the "Revolution", but nothing seemed dated or worn. Bathroom was a very good size for a ship.

Our Steward Putu was excellent. He brought us ice twice daily and kept the room. He greeted us by name whenever we would pass him in the hallway. He brought us towels before each port day.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

A little industrial, but emarkation was quick and easy. on the boat in about 15 minutes.

Costa Maya

We only got off ship for a short while hear for about an hour of shopping. We treated this as a "ship day" and enjoyed the less crowded pool.
