Ship:

All the other reviews are spot on. The cruise ship itself is in rough condition. There is rust absolutely everywhere on the outside of the ship, and it will make you feel as if you've made a mistake to spend your hard earned money on this vacation. However, once you are inside the ship, it is as clean as any ship I've been on, and it is very well kept. The Centrum area is incredible with the natural light, and the outside views that you get. This is an often overlooked item that is missing with other larger Royal ships that seemingly close off the interior public areas from ever receiving natural light and ocean views.

The casino is extremely smoking. On Oasis class and Anthem class, the casino is split into smoking and non-smoking, but on Enchantment, it feels like you're in a cigarette tray. I wanted to spend more time playing, but my eyes began to burn because of how bad it was. The smell also travels into Boleros and the theater lobby and makes the ship feel extremely dirtier.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Had a deck 2 ocean view room. The window itself had specks of rust on it, and the surrounding port hole was completely covered in rust. If I hadn't known what to expect, I would've been concerned at the state of the ship. However, the rest of the room was great. The mattress was firm, but comfortable. The shower was small, but effective with good water pressure. For the price, it was a great experience.

Port Reviews

Galveston

The port looks a little worse for the wear, but it was quick, efficient, and generally clean.

Costa Maya

I'm not a fan of this port. Without an excursion, you're better to just take advantage of the empty pool and empty bars on the ship.
