We wanted to see Mykonos, Athens and Santorini and have cruised with Celebrity on a number of occasions. Overall it was a decent itinerary with 8 x ports and 4 x days at sea. Good staff and some really good U K based performing acts in the theatre. Food overall was good but the main dining room menu is getting a bit stale and as such we ate in self service restaurant on a few occasions which was a nice change. We found it disappointing that we could not even try a Martini, using our drinks package, you needed premium, in the Martini Bar. In general the wines that we tried at night did not match the quality from previous Celebrity cruises. We booked three shore excursions through Celebrity and two through Cruising excursions, which on the whole were far better value than Celebrity. Although the ship was okay it is definitely looking very tired and in urgent need of a refit. We also enjoyed coffee at Al Bachio and the occasional confectionary on a daily basis. It was also nice to be sitting somewhere and one of the onboard entertainers would set up and start playing.
I don’t have the best sea legs, so a cablin near the water line suits me.
This was a good trip. Not too far on the coach. Nice explore around the harbour and then a guided walk through the town. Caught the scenic train back to the outskirts of Palma before returning by coach to the ship. Nice journey through the country side on the trainView All undefined undefined Reviews
No on shore time in Barcelona
Absolutely hopeless and a complete waste of money. The visit to the clock tower, in Messina, was really good but you could have done this for yourself, as it is only a few minutes walk from the port.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Really good trip around a lovely island. Good value for money.
Toured the city by coach and on foot, viewing relevant attractions. This was interesting. Free time to explore yourself or wander around the shops. Athens is really busy but it is well the effort to go and have a look.View All 164 City Tour Reviews
Five cruise ships on the same morning as we did. It was far too busy, getting on the cable car and walking about the town oil village was slightly better but not much. I think the tour would be okay if there was only one or two ships in but on this occasion it was a huge disappointment for us as we had been looking forward to the visit.View All 255 Oia Village Reviews
Easy walking distance to the old town area which is really pleasant to explore and have a coffee or ice cream. Nice shops to purchase a few gifts.
Not too far to walk into town, with a lift also available. Really nice place to explore on your own or take an open top bus tour.
